Pretty cool bulb for the price
For about $40, I figured I’d give this a try. It did help with my shoulder pain, the first night it arrived. So I don’t know yet if that was just placebo effect or if it was really doing something. I don’t care. By whatever mechanisim, it worked. Not healed, but made the pain manageable. Anyone suffering from chronic pain will understand just how valuable that is! I will be using this on my dog, too, since he has arthritis and the research says it can help with that. I will update if he seems to find any relief from it. Pretty sure there will be no placebo effect for him. 😉 If you’re on the fence I would say give it a try. It’s cheaper and probably safer than pushing drugs at the pain.
Remarkably helpful
Pleasantly surprised with how sturdy this is – seems to be built well. My shoulder has bothered me for years. I started swimming over the past six weeks and really irritated my shoulder more. I used this on my shoulder and can hardly believe how helpful this light is. My pain went down with the first use from a 7 to a 2 on a pain scale of 1 -10. I continue to use it twice a day and so far it is very helpful. This is remarkable.
Using Infrared and near infrared LED’s to cure muscle pain
I just love this Infrared and Near Infrared LED”s bulb. Easy to use, reasonably priced and very effective in creating internal heat in the muscle to alleviate pain. It’s way more effective than the traditional heat pad.
Helps skin conditions like psoriasis
My husband has psoriasis and we were looking for some kind of treatment. The red light seems to help. The goal is to limit the patches to thin ones. Although the skin turns red, it seems to be starting healing at the edges.
Great red light therapy treatment
I love this light bulb which I bought for wound treatment. It is easy to use, a great value for the money and I bought a clamp holder so I could clamp it to a door or my bathroom cabinet shelf. Works great and I’m getting great results. It does not put out a lot of heat but the area will get warm if you hold it too close.
Taken out of box and Lense, lamp were in the box loose
I just got this and was not impressed with the quality. The Lens was laying in the box along with the lock ring when I took the bulb out of the box. The ring was not perfectly circular, but I was able to figure out the indexing and get the snap ring on..Hopefully it stays, kind of precarious

Great product, excellent customer service
I purchased this product August 25, almost 3 months ago, and loved it till it stopped working last night. I use the lamp for a recurring sinus issue, it dramatically relieves pressure and the effects are long lasting. I’m not sure what happened, I have used it frequently since I got it and disappointed that it won’t turn on now.
Update: They reached out to me and sent a replacement bulb. I received the package on Friday in excellent condition and am satisfied with the prompt response. My experience with the product has been positive, and the customer service as well.

Revision: Once I contacted the company about the broken bulb, they immediately sent out a new one.. I did have to send the broken one back, but they paid for postage. This company’s customer service is excellent, which can be a rarity these days. A week after arrival, still working well. Happy customer, thank you!
Thought I’d give this a try, and it was great the first time I tried it. Second time it started flickering, then went on and off for 10 minutes til it just died. Amazon made it an easy return, thank goodness.

Ive dealt with shoulder pain for years, for the money it was worth a try. After one week I could notice a difference. Now after a month I am able to exercise and lift again. At night I dont wake up with constant pain. Ive a ways to go still, but I feel I am finally healing.
The directions say to keep it at 6″ away from skin, but I’ve had no problems at 1-2 inches.
Needs an on-indicator!
I think the light works well, but they really need to add a single normal colored led to the 850 nm only bulbs to easier tell if it’s on. The bulb could go out and I’m not sure how I would tell.
Extremely Therapeutic
I had been using a red light laser for over 15 years but this has a broader wave light spectrum and plugs into 110 VAC. It is really convenient when used in an old drop light. Excellent for using on arthritic joints and sore muscles. Healing is faster if used right after exercise or when pain is first felt from an injury.
If you want to catch the red light trend on the cheap
Some of my family members are really into red light therapy and use the expensive high-end brand name panels. I wanted to try it without that big investment. I got this little guy for an ankle injury, and eventually I felt better. I believe there’s enough published science and personal testimonials to support red light therapy for better skin or joint aches, so this works if you have just a few spots to work on.
